Alexander Zverev has a new coach. The Spanish ex-professional Sergi Bruguera will look after the 24-year Olympic champion at the coming Master in Miami as a coach.
Various images in social networks show the two for preparations for the upcoming Masters in the US state of Florida. After Juan Carlos Ferrero and David Ferrer, Bruguera, once the number of the tennis world rankings, is already the third Spaniard, who cares about ZVEREV as a coach.
However, the cooperation should initially only be done on a sample. Tennis Journalist Jannik Schneider reported that it is a “test phase” according to the ZVEREV team.
Bruguera celebrated his biggest successes on sand. At the French Open he was winning in 1993 and 1994 twice, besides, he won the silver medal in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. On the ATP tour he brought 14 titles, almost all on sand.
