Within the Warcraft universe, kobolds are a race of subterranean humanoids who dig the earth for shiny things. In Warcraft Arclight Rumble, the developers have chosen to give these vile creatures a very high status, as they will play the role of gold miners, allowing you to speed up your economy and generate more troops.
Despite its small size, you can be sure that this little kobold will be crucial, as it will allow you to increase the game’s economy.
Koboldexactly does the Kobold do?
As its name suggests, the Mining Kobold is used almost exclusively for mining gold on the map. Therefore, it will move to gold deposits first if they are at least partially complete.
What do we know about gold mines?
In Warcraft Arclight Rumble, the topography of the map changes between matches. Consequently, the layout of gold deposits is also likely to change. On the other hand, it is possible to learn more about them through the beta version.
Gold mines can have multiple gold nuggets (between 1 and 3 gold units)
Gold mines recharge over time. Once empty, a deposit can again provide gold if a Kobold attacks it again.
Once empty, a gold mine will recover one gold vein every 5 seconds. Note that gold mining can only be done when no mining kobolds are drilling the mine.
Small but OP?
Clash Royale players can confirm this; resource generation is a mastered parameter in a tower attack. In CR, elixir collectors cost no less than six elixir units, and they are immobile Koboldngs! In WAR, the Kobold only costs one gold. And even if the latter is still a very vulnerable troop, in theory, it can make a profit very quickly. Your location will be a critical factor in your chances of winning Blizzard’s next mobile game!
